		<description>[...] A first in Toronto, Virgin Mobile brings an absolute who&#8217;s who in music to one of the most scenic and interesting venues in all of Toronto; the Toronto Islands. Undeterred by the challenging geography, the MuchMusic.com team set out cover this event in a way no in broadcast had yet attempted. We would stream live over the web the entire two days of performances from some of the biggest names in music while simultaneaously engaging the fans via our newly launched user generated content platform, ShowMeYours as well as the usual exclusive behind the scenes interviews etc. With messages displayed on two jumbo screens flanking side stage, users were encouraged to upload videos and photos directly to the website while users at home could watch both from an audience perspective as well as the live feed of the show produced by our on site production team on MuchAXS.
